Our Story

Unalome Changemakers NPC was born from one simple but powerful truth: real empowerment begins with informed choices.

Too often, young people navigate life, education, and career decisions without proper guidance or exposure. This lack of support traps potential and continues cycles of disempowerment and poverty.

Unalome Changemakers exists to bridge that gap, helping youth connect who they are with who they can become. Through mentorship, mental wellness advocacy, and career exposure, we guide young people to discover their purpose, define their mission, and design their future with clarity and confidence.

Our work extends beyond classrooms—it reaches the heart, mind, and spirit of every young person we serve. From mental health awareness to menstrual dignity campaigns, everything we do helps youth, especially girls, to stand in their power and make decisions that shape brighter, self determined futures.

Our Story - Youth Empowerment

Who We Are

A youth development and empowerment organisation dedicated to helping young people in under resourced communities make informed life, education, and career decisions.

Our Mandate

To empower young people to make informed decisions, equipping them with the mindset, tools, and opportunities to lead purpose driven lives, contribute meaningfully to their communities, and break cycles of limitation through awareness, connection, and choice.

Our Approach

Through afterschool programmes, awareness campaigns, and empowerment initiatives, we focus on four core areas: Mental Health & Resilience, Mentorship & Life Design, Career Exposure & Skills Development, and Access to Education & Dignity for Girls.

Our Four Core Areas

Focused initiatives that address the most critical needs of young people in under resourced communities

Mental Health & Resilience

Building emotional intelligence and mental wellness through awareness campaigns, substance abuse prevention, and resilience training. We help young people develop coping strategies and emotional strength to navigate life's challenges.

Mentorship & Life Design

Guiding youth to discover their purpose and design their future through personal development plans, career coaching, and mentorship programs. We help young people connect who they are with who they can become.

Career Exposure & Skills Development

Providing hands on experiences and career exploration opportunities through partnerships with organizations like Made in Workshop. We expose learners to industrial tools, creative design, and innovation to help them make informed career choices.

Access to Education & Dignity for Girls

Ensuring no girl misses school due to menstrual poverty through our Chasing Waterfalls for Dignity campaign. We provide dignity packs, menstrual health education, and safe spaces for dialogue, promoting gender equality in education.
